How mount systems work
Put a muzzle device on each rifle, and match the can's rear mount to it. Most systems are proprietary: a SilencerCo ASR device won't take a Dead Air KeyMo can. The HUB standard (1.375x24 threads) is the exception that many brands share. Filter by mount system below to see only what fits.
What to check
- Mount system and generation. Some brands changed their mount designs between generations.
- Muzzle thread pitch, which is set by your barrel: 1/2x28 is typical for 5.56 and 9mm, 5/8x24 for .30 cal.
- Timing method: crush washer, shims or a timing nut.
- Wear on the locking surfaces or ratchet teeth on used mounts.

- No. These parts are not silencer parts under the Gun Control Act, so they can ship straight to your door. Check your state and local law if you live somewhere that restricts muzzle devices.
