Suppressor build kits
Firearm partTubes, baffles and caps sold together to assemble a suppressor. A complete kit is a silencer under the Gun Control Act. Out-of-state sales ship to your FFL, and making cans to sell requires a manufacturer license.
Nothing listed here yet. List yours. It's free.
Before you buy a kit
- Check state law first. Several states ban silencers outright, and that includes kits.
- Confirm every part is listed: tube, baffles or core, both end caps, and any spacers.
- Ask whether the kit needs machining (drilling bores, threading) or is ready to assemble.
- Kits sold as "solvent traps" with indexed or pre-drilled cups are still silencer parts. SilencerPart doesn't allow that framing.
- Building one for yourself is different from building to sell. Selling cans you make requires a manufacturer license.
Common questions
- Do I need an FFL to buy this?
- If you and the seller live in different states, yes. The seller ships to your FFL and you complete a 4473 and background check there. If you live in the same state, federal law allows a private sale, but many states require an FFL transfer anyway. Check your state's rules before you meet.
